About PAWS@Mac

PAWS (Peoples Animal Welfare Society) @Mac is a satellite organization of PAWS Canada for the McMaster University campus. Our mission is to reach out to both the Hamilton and McMaster community to address current animal welfare issues. These issues can be local, such as the growing feral cat population in downtown Hamilton, or national, such as the mistreatment of Marineland's animals. If you are ever interested in an issue or have one that you would like promoted, then feel free to contact us with details of the issue.

The aim of PAWS (People for Animal Welfare Society) is to draw attention to animal welfare issues, both locally and globally, in order to prevent cruelty against all animals. We further aim to help educate the McMaster community through peaceful events and fundraisers. The funds raised by PAWS throughout the academic year will go to various animal welfare charities and organizations.
Anyone is welcomed at our meetings and events, and we always love to see new faces!

    Dear Sir or Madam:

I have recently made a video about building a self heating winter shelter for cats. Its design is based on the Arctic igloo, which is known for its legendary thermal protection of natives. The Kitty Igloo can be built with just $3.00, three common tools, and 25 minutes of labor.

No skills are needed to build a Kitty Igloo. Almost anyone of any age can build one.

I would be thrilled if you would view the video. If you think it worthy, feel free to distribute the link to others. I would enjoy any feedback and any further questions.

Thank you for your work with animals.

    Meow,
    Keith and Knickknack.
